Vintage Fitness takes a new approach to living well by incorporating the functional training aspect of fitness for the adults 40 years old and above. John has a passion for working with those that struggle with the motivation and will behind becoming the healthiest and best versions of themselves.

John’s work experience and wellness experience spans over 25 years in the industry holding managerial positions on boards of major wellness entities. John’s work experiences include working for the Memorial Hermann Wellness Center for 12 years and Houston Baptist University for 3 more years before moving into this area that has always captivated his passion and dream. He has earned numerous awards in his field, achieved higher level certifications as a trainer and has been recognized professionally for his love of helping people in this industry of Wellness and Fitness.

John has found that the two elements of fitness and acupuncture work hand in hand in all aspects of being a healthy individual.


Randy Udovich

L.Ac, Diplomat of Oriental Medicine

RandyRandy Udovich is a very caring, intuitive acupuncturist who takes the time to get to know each of his patients and focus on their areas of need when they come into his practice.  He received his Bachelor’s in Computer Science Psychology from Texas State University in 1988.  He then attend the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and completed his Master’s Degree in 2008.  In order to learn more about Oriental Medicine, Randy spent time at Luzhou Medical College at Shanghai University.  To further broaden his horizons and scope of treatment, Randy completed a program on stroke recovery and pain at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009.In 2011, he completed a program on Migraines and Auto Immune Disorders.


Randy is insured and licensed by the state of Texas Medical Board as an acupuncturist since 2008. Randy practices all modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine using tongue and pulse to diagnose and treat issues such as pain, fertility, sleep, digestion, allergies, immune system (auto immune disorders), migraines, female issues and other medical issues.


Kiat Chong

Kiat Fah Chong is a nationally board certified practitioner of Oriental Medicine who earned his Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from The American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his acupuncture and herbal training, he interned at the college’s clinic and at Houston Methodist Hospital providing treatments to patients in an out patient setting.


Biru Yang

PhD, L.Ac.

Biru Yang, PhD, L.Ac. earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from The American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health.

She is originally from Taiwan, where TCM is widely considered an integral part of the healthcare system. Biru is passionate about public health and preventive medicine. She keeps abreast of the latest research on acupuncture, herbal medicine and clinical trials to inform her own practice. As a health scientist, she received the New Researcher Award at the 2009 HIV Prevention Conference and the Outstanding Student Poster Award in the 2011 American Public Health Association Conference (APHA) Complementary and Alternative Medicine Track.

Biru believes in and stands by Hippocrates’ quote “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” She was trained in Botany at National Taiwan University. She enjoys incorporating her knowledge of plant biology and food therapy into patient care. Biru is excited to work with you to improve overall well-being and health!

Dave Simmons, Licensed Massage Therapist

Dave is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Texas (MT128966).  He is also certified by the National Boad for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB, 587362-10). Dave incorporates modalities including, but not limited to, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Thai Massage.  He is also known for adding stretches within all of his modalities to help give the client an extra benefit to their therapy.

Dave is very goal driven, having worked out consistently for 24 years.  His first trainer explained that if he was going to workout consistently, then he needed to have a monthly massage.  He has found this to be some of the best advice he’s received over the years.  Combining regular workouts and massage therapy help you achieve health, happiness, and a positive attitude.  Dave knows that you will feel the benefits of massage therapy from your first session.
